Die Klinik für Neurologie bietet im stationären und ambulanten Rahmen die komplette Diagnostik und Therapie von seltenen neurologischen Erkrankungen des peripheren und zentralen Nervensystems an. Klinische und wissenschaftliche Schwerpunkte sind: Schlaganfall und neurovaskuläre Erkrankungen inkl. neurologischer Intensivtherapie, Neuroimmunologie und Multiple Sklerose, Bewegungsstörungen mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Parkinsonerkrankungen und Ataxien sowie neuromuskuläre Erkrankungen. Es besteht zudem eine enge Kooperation mit dem Dr. Senckenbergischen Institut für Neuroonkologie sowie dem Epilepsiezentrum Frankfurt Rhein-Main, ebenso mit der Klinik für Neurochirurgie sowie dem Institut für Neuroradiologie.
